about me
i design products and services that help people feel empowered and confident with their decisions. i want to continue growing with businesses and organizations that help and improve the communities of their offices and their employees as well.

i’m open to remote full-time positions, let’s connect to see how I can support your team!

my design pillars

accessibility

all of us will have a disability at least once in our lives. it could be temporary through a broken bone, bright light affecting our vision, or holding a child and groceries at the same time. or it could be lifelong. that’s why all my designs are as accessible as possible for as many people as possible.

inclusivity

everyone deserves respect, but not everyone gets it. that’s why i spend time thinking and working through the social impact that people have to live through when using specific tools and solutions. that way their digital experiences can be more positive.

confidence building

there is a lot of information in our world, and it’s only getting bigger. that’s why i build solutions that help people make the best decision for them and their loved ones. i want everyone to feel comfortable that they received the best option for them.

my work and personal pillars

collaboration

i may be experienced in design, but i’m not the subject matter expert in all business and industry knowledge. that’s why partnering with others is the best way to produce better solutions.

growth mindset

i’m always growing, i never settle for the first solution. i taught myself html/css to better communicate with developers (and also cause it’s fun to me). and i continue developing my design research skills to learn more about the people at the end of my designs.

humor & kindness

life is already hard. i want to make working together easier and more fun. i’m always there to lighten the mood with a sometimes badly timed joke, but making people feel seen and heard is something that matters.

adaptable

as much as i love having all the decisions and information upfront, that’s not how everything works out. and how will i iterate more if it were that easy? i love having to make changes to make sure the solution is as accurate as possible.

humanities driven

with a background in humanities, i reflect on not just the human in human centered design, but the environment they are in. no one lives in a bubble, and the tools they use are part of a larger landscape to define problems and their best solutions.

problem solver

give me all the problems to solve! the more complex, the better. while it’s great for work, i’ve had to step back at times to not always try to solve other people’s problems for them. i’m a work in progress on that one.
